Bonsignorio

Anna Bonsignorio is an Italian illustrator working across editorial and publishing, creating concept-driven and narrative imagery.

Her work focuses on themes of human connection, emotional interiority, and visual storytelling, combining clarity, atmosphere, and symbolic detail. Influenced by observation and lived experience, her illustrations aim to communicate complex ideas with restraint and sensitivity.

Alongside her illustration practice, she also works on visual and information design projects, where illustration is combined with layout, typography, and structure to support clear communication. Her design work often engages with educational, cultural, and socially engaged contexts.

She graduated with First-Class Honours in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art and currently works as a freelance illustrator. Her work has been commissioned by organisations and publications including International Justice Mission, Crumble Magazine, Children in Scotland, and the University of Edinburgh, among others.
